Name: Christopher Boettcher, Ph.D.

Faculty Biography: Christopher Boettcher, Ph.D. is an Assistant Professor of English at the University of the Ozarks in Clarksville, AR. Prof. Boettcher teaches widely in English Studies, with teaching interests in composition, literary and cultural theory and Irish literature. As an early friend of the Amizade Consortium, Prof. Boettcher has instructed in a number of AGSLC programs in Brazil, Australia, Northern Ireland and Montana, USA. He is currently writing a book on service, philanthropy and town planning in nineteenth-century Ireland.
