Financial Aid Information and Links
Amizade Global Service-Learning Programs are a very accessible,
affordable option in study abroad.
Tuition covers many expenses
With Amizade Programs, room
and board, cultural excursions and onsite transportation expenses
are covered by the program tuition fee. For many students the
program tuition is comparable to taking six credits on campus!

University
scholarships
Many colleges and universities offer scholarships for study
abroad. A scholarship of $250 - $1000 will go a long way for
a global service-learning program! Check with your study abroad
office at your home institution to explore your options. Local
organizations, agencies, and companies in your community may
have scholarships as well.

Summer work
Since most courses include 3-4 weeks on location,
you will have time in the country to get a flavor for the culture
but also have the rest of your summer to work or pursue other
opportunities. Many programs run at the beginning or end of
the summer, so you can still have an uninterrupted internship
or summer job, for example.
