Through an academic partnership with West Virginia University, the Amizade Global Service-Learning Consortium offers exciting and innovative service-learning programs for educational credit. The programs integrate focused academic coursework, meaningful cross-cultural service, and short-term study abroad in communities around the world. Through this combination of rigorous study, community service and tested practice, the Consortium encourages the academic, civic and personal growth of students and instructors.

The cross-cultural service component of the programs occurs in countries where Amizade maintains community partnerships. In-depth information about each community partnership and on-going community projects is available on the main Amizade web site www.amizade.org.
