  Depart for Corrymeela, Ballycastle
• Afternoon – Amizade program orientation
• Evening - Background of Northern Ireland and Corrymeela Dinner and

• All Day Field Trip to Derry and surrounding areas
• Evening – Dinner at Corrymeela and Group Discussions

Monday

• Morning – Drive to Belfast, check in at Farset Center
• Afternoon: Community service at after school programs
• Evening Activity: Group Discussion

• Morning – Cultural Activity
• Afternoon: Community service at after school programs
• Evening Activity: Free Time

Wednesday

• Morning – Free Time
• Afternoon: Community service at after school programs

This is a sample itinerary and should be used as a planning tool. Each group’s program will vary.

Groups requesting to arrive other than Saturday morning or afternoon should make arrangements with the Amizade office in advance.

Group Discussions and Reflections are scheduled as per individual group goals and expectations.

Group cultural, educational and recreational programming is scheduled in cooperation with the community and the availability of community members. Below is a list of potential opportunities:

Community Service:
All placements are for groups of 4 students in after school projects working with 4-12 year olds.

• ForthSpring – Methodist Church Hall on the peace line with Cross Community Programme
• Street Beat – Youth Project in a protestant area
• Whiterock Community Centre – Community project in catholic area
• Blackie Centre – Community Project in catholic area

Possible All Day Field Trips:

• Guided tour through Derry and its political walls
• Visit Corrymeela Center in Ballycastle

Possible Cultural Activities:

• Visit Derry City and Political Walls
• Visit Ulster Museum
• Linenhall Library
• Tour of Northern Ireland Parliament
